Career Medical Officer - Mental Health
A vacancy exists for a Career Medical Officer within our 35 bed Woodlands Unit. The successful applicant will be integral to the effective interdisciplinary management of our patients in consultation with Visiting Medical Officers, Nursing & Allied Health staff. Admission and Discharge Coordination Nurse
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years of clinical nursing experience who's role includes:
- Assess critical situations and manage competing demands.
- Work collaboratively with all members our multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate patient flow and provide high quality patient care.
- Manage target time frames and meeting access and triage targets.
- Allocate patients to beds according to clinical priority.
General Services Officer- Domestic and Catering
We have opportunities for highly motivated and committed General Services Officer in both Domestic and Catering Services.
Selection Essential Criteria:
- Rotating roster - flexibility to work day, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts essential.
- Contribute to the maintenance of hospital cleanliness.
- Comply with the Infection Control Standards, as set in the AURORA Health Infection Control Policy Practice and Guidelines Manual HICMAR.
- Delivery and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Professional standard uniform code of AURORA Health employees at all times
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven effective time management skills and the ability to handle a busy workload
- Current Working with Children Check
- Police Check
- Immunisation Status current to Class A Hospital
- COVID Immunised
Desirable Criteria
- Hospital experience preferred.
- Food handling background (HACCP system) highly desirable
- Comply with the requirements of the AURORA Health WHS Safety Management System, in which to enhance patients, staff and visitors comfort and safety.
- Food safety certificate
